Andrew W. Pruett is currently Vice President of Technology at Sunniva Inc. a vertically integrated cannabis company with operations in Canada and the United States. Prior to his role at Sunniva he was Director of Business Transformation for one of the largest lumber manufacturers in the world, where his focus was on process optimization in lean manufacturing. He also led technology functions for a global base metals and energy mining company and spent over 9 years in the oil and gas industry in business focused technology roles.
Andrew has served as an advisor to technology startups in the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia. The focus of these companies is wide ranging such global logistics, procurement, tourism, transportation, maintenance, process systems, security and information management. He is the current vice chairman of a midsized healthcare foundation based in Vancouver BC where he focuses on governance, communications and strategy.
Andrew hails from Northern Alaska where he was born, raised and lived prior to his relocation to Canada. Andrew has studied complex systems analysis, design and construction at Middlesex University Bounds Green Computing Centre London, UK, Arcadia University in Glenside, PA where he received a B.Sc. in Management of Information Systems. Andrew has also completed the Advanced Management Program for Executives at Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Business.
